This impact report explains what the Better Security, Better Care programme has done and the difference we have made during our first three years from 2021 to 2024.As of May 2024, 70% (18,000) of all CQC registered care provider locations have an up-to-date DSPT in place – up from just 15% before our programme started in 2021. And 80% of all care providers are now registered to use the DSPT – up from 55% in 2021.See also our infographic which accompanies this detailed report.
